Meet Bob
Robert "Bob" Johnson is a lifelong public servant and expert in multiple fields of public safety. He currently serves as the 18th District Beat 1833 Facilitator and has served as a member of the 18th District Advisory Committee for 6 years.Since 2016, he has chaired the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents (SOAR) Public Safety Task Force, where he worked with four different police commanders on public safety initiatives in Streeterville.Bob's lengthy career as a first responder in his native Ohio has helped inform his volunteer service to his community. After 7 years as a police officer, Bob pivoted to a career as a firefighter and retired as a Fire Chief after 33 years. Additionally, Bob has 5 years experience as a FEMA Disaster Response Specialist.Bob earned an MBA from the University of Dayton.
